Mill Island

Mill Island, located in the very center of the city, is the heart of Bydgoszcz. It is a place where Bydgoszcz citizens spend their free time walking and relaxing, or taking part in outdoor events organized here!Granaries, the Mill and the Brda-Młynówka River have beco-me part of the landscape of Bydgoszcz’s Island for good, creating a complex of historic buildings closely associated with local milling and river transportation. In 2012 – after the process of revitalization most of the existing buildings were adapted for exhibition purposes of the District Museum. As of 2019, Mill Island is also home to the Cultural Park in Rother’s Mills.
