Palaces in Ostromecko

The Palace and Park Complex in Ostromecko is part of the Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz. The vast grounds, amidst lush forests and gardens in English and Italian styles, contain two palaces. In the baroque Old Palace, one can get acquainted with a historic collection of pianos. Of special significance to the history of Bydgoszcz’s crafts and industry are the arrangements in the classicist New Palace. The first one is „Sommerfeld Storehouse” which tells the history of the production of, among others, pianos, and the second is related to the Bydgoszcz Accordion Factory.
